PRESENTATION
This interactive version of the digital glossary is presented in a way that makes it easy to use. It offers a new approach to reading, comfortable and agreeable. Thanks to its intuitive aspect, it allows for fluid searches, both rapid and precise. An incorporated system of links in the text makes it possible to go back and forth between terms and their synonyms, without having to look in the book. This interactive glossary is organised around a search engine. In one click, one has direct access to the table of contents where one can choose between French/English and English/French translations. In addition, the insertion of signets facilitates navigation from one page to the next, and in one touch, one can resume one’s reading without interruption. The interactivity of this book makes it possible to flick through it effortlessly. Accessible to everyone, this digital format is a practical and functional tool that will satisfy professionals as much as students.
Based on the Technical Dictionary of the Stock Exchange and Financial Markets by Jeanne-France de Villeneuve, and under her direction, this bilingual glossary is written by Delphine Liebeaux, former student at the Superior Institute for Interpreting and Translation, who holds a DEA degree in Internal Public Law (Panthéon-Assas University), with assistance from David Catton and Philipp Morris, international financial market professionals for over fifteen years. |
